I got married last year. We decided not to have before our marriage. On our wedding night, I found out that my husband was unable to get an . I umed that this was due to nerves, but while on our honeymoon, he was still unable to get an . He then opened up and told me that he has had this problem for eleven years, that he is not able to get an and therefore unable to have . After much persuasion, he finally agreed to see his GP, who we went to see together. The GP prescribed two months supply of Viagra. We tried the Viagra for two months, but it did not work. We went back to the GP who, after going through all the various issues that my husband has, concluded that his is a very complex problem. He was referred to a specialist. His treatment requires his commitment, but he failed to attend appointments etc. In the end, we had a mive argument and the issue of having children came up. I had always told him, even before marriage, that I am very keen to start a family as I am 35 years old and my biological clock is ticking. He suggested that we have a child using donor sperm. We agreed that this was the best option. I fell pregnant at the first attemp with donor sperm. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant. He is now saying that he feels that he will not bond with this child as it is not biologically his own and that I should choose between him or the child. I can't believe this man. I don't know what to do. I will definitely go ahead with the pregnancy, but I feel so alone and afraid of the future. Any words of advice/encouragement/support would be greatly appreciated.
