Mac OSX Lion with my mouse?

I plan to buy a Mac Mini this summer, that way I can use my current monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. plus I don't want to spend any more than $800. anyway, i've noticed that OSX lion uses lots of finger gestures kind of like on the ipad and ipod touch, but they seem to require the apple magic mouse. will I need to buy an apple mouse to use with it? can i use these features with my current PC's mouse?
