How do I deal with a strict mother?

get in the routine of saying just gonna do my homework mum, then when done say just taking a breather do you need a hand with anything, get her to move her goal posts a bit, so you can learn to cook or something that you both like and maybe earn some money etc but you must do your homework first without any fuss, you will thank her when your grown up, do you think you would be going to a charter school if she had not pushed you constantly.
